88+   2008  Treana  White   Central Coast   9/20/11 ($18)

  55%Marsanne, 45%Viognier    14.5% alc
Color: Medium straw to gold. (3.0) Bouquet: Beeswax and elegant poached pear with some flowery, acidity-propelled aromatics. (3.0) Body: Solid middleweight plus with excellent fruit and spice. Rich, silky mouthfeel. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet, but less distinctive with some bitterness. (2.5) Finish: Parallels flavor, but less bitter. (2.5)
Overall: A promising wine that also has immediate appeal. Spicy Viognier with appealing Marsanne. Very good right now with or w/o food, but could improve in the next few years. (14.0)
